Made by small producer groups in rural Nepal

About the Producers

We source this product from a small producer group that had received Aus Aid funding and other Overseas aid to invest in Village training and equipment donations such as sewing machines. This has given the Village artisans the support that was needed to produce high quality pieces suitable for exporting. They can now sew and create bags, backpacks, purses, caps, clothing and other pieces using natural fibres and village leather.

They maintain regular contact with the Villages involved and provide food and supplies during crisis situations such as landslide, earthquakes and now COVID. They paid fair prices for their work and given regular training for new products.
